Slippin' n' Slidin'

This never gets old! We could do this all day and night. All you need is a LARGE piece of plastic and lots and lots of soap!

The only set back: soapy body parts and some hip/bum bruises!It is always a competition for the boys

Getting bigger

These pups are gettin so big so fast! We love them to pieces, even though they are ruining our backyard (like it was so great before:)
Gage LOVES them, I think he will have the hardest time of all the kids when they have to leave.
They all have names, great ones like Sunshine, Freckle Toes, and Big Bertha....Some are not gender fitting names but the kids don't bother with all that! the ones with the collars are already spoken for.
Their favorite place to sleep is on this nasty, nasty pillow!

Hike

My dad had a good idea to hike the heiroglyphics (sp) trail again, so I loaded the kids up and headed out with my parents!

The pictures never really do it justice. Brighton loves this hat!
Gavin did such a good job hiking with very minimal whining.


The water is always the best part for the kids. My camera ran out of batteries so I didn't get any pictures of the girls :(

The water was freezing!

Spring break can be hard to keep the kids all busy and happy...the whole week, luckilly we have wonderful neighbors who are creative and fun! They set up an obstacle course at the local elementary school.

First you had to crawl thru the tunnel... Jump really high on the trampoline...

For some reason, this picture reminds me of the old Popeye movie! (i think)

then the moms had a friendly competition racing 'there' and 'back' on these stilt things. Rachel made them and it was so fun!

The kids did another super fun relay game and ended with recieving their 'medals'

We love our neighbors so much, it was a great day!

Homemade sail boats

Aunt Emily is so much fun, my kids really love her a lot. She comes up with fun projects to do, not only for her own kids, but mine as well!

She came over today to make sailboats for the kids to sail over at the park across the street....so cool! The kids got to make two each.

We saw Nana and Papa as we were walking to the park so they came along (we love living so close)

They wanted to race them, sadly most of the sailboats sunk! Some of them got out a ways first though! Thank you Emily for the fun evening, my kids really love you!

St. Patties Day

We live in such a great neighborhood. Leslie was kind enough to organize a St. Patrick's Day get-together for the kids....at her house! They played hot potato and whoever ended up with the potato, got to dance a jig in the middle of the circle. Bridgit is a little embarassed but don't let it fool you, she is wuite the show off at home!

We eventually herded them all to the backyard for more fun. It is nice to have friends in the neighborhood to hang out with and visit while the children have so much fun together.

Brighton and her ever obsession with babies. Brody is getting so big, look at him sitting all by himself!

Pups

We have had so much fun with these puppies. The kids will run outside first thing in the morning to check on them and play with them. They love the kids too. Gage likes to go lay on the grass and let them crawl all over him!

They like to nibble on toes too!

It will be so sad to see them go, when they are old enough to leave their momma.

Happy 7th birthday to Gage! I think he had a good one.

He had some phone calls for happy birthday wishes, he ate it up. I love his smile!
