Last Weekend
Cass and I (& Brighton) were able to get away last weekend... sort of. Cass had job he had to go spray in Skull Valley, so we decided to make a weekend of it! We stayed in a decent hotel in Wickenburg, woke up way too early in the morning, and went to the ranch like an hour drive from there. Brighton and I hung out while Cass went to work. The ranch he was spraying was amazing, and beautiful, nothing I had pictured after hearing the name "Skull Valley"! I can't get the pictures to download, they were mostly of Brighton, but I wanted to remember anyway! P.s. huge thanks to Cass' parents and mine for each watching a couple of kids so I could go with Cass!

Wonderful Uplifting Perspective
Thank you to Leslie for posting this on your blog, you are such an example to me and I thought this was wonderful, thank you. See this link to hear Elder F. Enzio Busche's advise. I think it is worth watching every 6 whole minutes of it. Very touching and inspiring, definitely makes me want to be better.

"No bum please"
Gavin likes to eat his hot dogs without a "bum"! He has said this for a while now and I just think it's great that he doesn't know or care that it sounds silly! We ate leftovers from the Labor Day bbq at my parents'.
Cass is in the process of finishing our family room/ garage room. He is putting molding on the walls so he told the kids that they could color on them!! (only below the red line) They thought it was great, Brooklin wouldn't do it at first though, because she didn't want to get into trouble, I re-assured her it was ok and they made colorful works of art to be enjoyed, for only a couple more days though!
