We haven't been swimming much yet this summer, not quite sure why... but for Family Home Evening this week, we decided it would be a fun activity. The girls didn't want to get out. It was "time to get out!" and they were taking their sweet time getting the toys out of the pool, messing around, "oops! I fell in!"
This kid has a hundred different faces!

Gage is recovering from an ear infection. (all of my older kids are actually for some reason) so we tried out these ear plugs. They just bugged the kids, really.

Thanks mom and dad for allowing us to come over to swim any time!

Gavin's sunbeam teacher knew how much he loves care bears. She recently moved:( and was going thru her stuff, and was so kind to think of Gavin. She brought over this really big care bear, it was instantly his very best! He fell asleep that night, not in his bed, but right at the bottom of the stairs like this.......The bear is half his size, I thought this was so sweet. Thank you Sister "acompos"!

free Saturdays to spend quality time with my family
a vehicle that will fit my whole family in it!
accomplishing my goal to run a half-marathon
waking up to happy, smiling, hungry faces at the edge of my bed
being an "empty-nester" with Cass someday
Sundays -they are usually nice days
vacations (don't really have any planned at the moment)
game nights

8 things I wish I could do:
Keep my house clean 24-7
go on more dates with Cass
have more patience
be more observant of those in need around me
go to Hogwarts School
not need any sleep
see the world with Cass and our children
pay my house off

Larson Reunion '09

Every year, we look forward to the Larson reunion! It's beautiful. There's fishing, and the kids love playing in the stream. There was a shovel that Brighton thought was her very own.


Gavin found a big frisbee to play with...

Gage made this frog his pet (I forgot what he named it). But we had to let him go home to his family before we left for our home. Gage cried because he loved it so much.

Brooklin made her own fishing pole out of a stick, a hook with a little bit of string on it, and some neon pink fish bait!

The water was really cold and refreshing.

Brighton was very clingy the first while there, she wouldn't let anyone but Cass hold her or even look at her (stinker) but she finally warmed up and ran and ran around, she loved it there!

I love this picture, Kansas has her arm around Bridgit. She is so sweet and she and Addi are great cousins, we wish we could play with them more!

We really missed not having all of Cass' brothers and their families there though.
