Yes, Bridgit and Brooklin got chickenpox. Apparently there was an outbreak at their school and Brooklin came home with it first. Two weeks later, Bridgit came home with it! There were lots of mixed reactions from people we know...we had a couple families come over to share germs. (didn't work) and some thought it was more like the plague, and the rest were normal. It was an interesting few weeks. Word spreads fast!
They had such mild reactions and never complained other than it being a bit itchy. They were immunized as babies but didn't recieve the booster, which they were going to recieve at age 11. oh well. We actually were hoping the rest of the children would get the pox but they didn't. The boys have had the booster but not Brighton. She will get it before Kindergarten I suppose. I have mixed feelings about this vaccination....
